Ward 4 Boundaries

Ward 4 is, by far, the largest Ward in Oakville.

It covers the area north of the QEW to the Milton border and from the Burlington border to 16 mile creek, and includes Glen Abbey, West Oak Trails, 407 West, Sixteen Hollow, Palermo Village & Palermo West

Thank You Ward 4

Thank you for electing me to represent you in Ward 4, and the opportunity to make a difference. Over the past 4 years, there have been many changes in our ward.  I am pleased to report highlights from some of those accomplishments:

  • Having served on the Town of Oakville 2007 & 2008 Budget Committee and with my financial contribution to the 2009 & 2010 Budget process, the average property tax increase over the past 4 years has been minimized at an average of 2.6% which is the lowest in the GTA.
  • Construction of the Oakville Soccer Clubs indoor soccer facility at Pine Glen
  • Many Ward 4 properties had their property assessment reduced by MPAC - Municipal Property Assessment Corporation.
  • Completion of the new baseball diamonds and the leash free dog run at Palermo Park at Dundas and Postmaster.
  • Expansion of the Glen Abbey Branch of the Oakville Library.
  • Major connector roads are realigned to enhance traffic calming and pedestrian safety.  Many new 3 and 4 way stops and traffic signals introduced.
  • Increased Speed monitoring by Halton Regional Police.
  • Completion of the new bridge over the QEW at Fourth Line.
  • Opening of 4 New Schools. Two more under construction.
  • Addition of a Skateboard park at Glen Abbey Rec Centre. (temporarily closed)
  • Oakville Soccer Club clubhouse, splash pad and playground at West Oak Trails Community Park.
  • Implementation of the new Grid Style Oakville Transit bus system.
  • Development and implementation of the Bronte Road / Hwy 25 bypass to preserve Oakville's designated Historic White Oak Tree.
  • Province of Ontario donates 50 acres at Dundas and Third Line for the new 1.5 million sq ft Hospital.
  • Major road resurfacing improvements & introduction of Bicycle lanes.
  • Additional parking spaces added at both the Oakville and Bronte Go Stations to support Ward 4 commuters

I am proud to serve this community and welcome any feedback from my constituents to help identify needs and to resolve issues.
